The competition stage is where every detail matters, where every fraction of a gram can influence the outcome. The first in a new generation of Acaia scales, the Pyxis Black was developed alongside competitors, and is the first coffee scale to achieve 0.001-gram resolution.

Yasuo Ishii, founder of Leaves Coffee, had seen a prototype and knew immediately that its unmatched accuracy and speed were exactly what he needed in his competition routine. At the 2025 Japan Brewers Cup, he became the first competitor to use it on stage.

For the competition, we worked together to build an innovative brew setup, an integral part of which was the Pyxis Black. To deepen our collaboration and mark our shared commitment to precision, we launched the exclusive Leaves Coffee Edition, set to serve the coffee enthusiasts who walk through Yasuo’s door.
