We're launching three new scales: The Cosmo series and the Umbra Lunar Duo. The Cosmo 100 and Cosmo 10 will be available through the website of our collaboration partner, Artisan. The high-capacity scales are specifically designed and programmed for the coffee roasting community. Order via the Artisan website here.
The Umbra Lunar Duo is an expanded version of the Umbra Lunar, with many of the same features and abilities. It will soon be available across our US, EU, and JP websites.

Cosmo 100 & Cosmo 10
The Cosmo is a brand-new ultra-capacity series co-created by Acaia and Artisan. The Cosmo 100 and Cosmo 10 are designed to benefit the coffee roasting industry. The Cosmo 10 can weigh up to 10 kilograms or 352 ounces, and the Cosmo 100 can weigh up to 100 kilograms or 220.4 pounds with precision. The collaboration pairs the expertise of our teams, matching award-winning weighing technology with intuitive roasting software. The scales series addresses a critical industry need to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of batch weighing, thereby minimizing errors.
The Cosmos' seamless integration with Artisan software offers an efficient roast management experience. Suitable for large batch roasters and boutique roasters alike. The industry scales deliver real-time data on roast behavior, flavor development, and production efficiency, helping coffee professionals refine their techniques and improve workflow.

Precision Weighing Technology: Ensures accurate batch dosing and minimizes miscalculations, enabling roasters to optimize their roast profiles and flavor development.

Before and After Roast Weight: Intelligent support for weighing green and roasted coffee beans.
Smart Task Displays: Generated graphics provide detailed information about the weighing tasks at hand. They display the name of the next batch, its size, the type of beans, and the current weighing state.
Blend Receipts Calculation: Weighing of pre-blends is supported by indicating the ratio and quantity of beans for each blend component.
Empty-bucket Recognition and Auto Tare: Initiate the weighing process by placing an empty bucket on the scale. Once the bucket is removed, the resulting weight is automatically recorded in the roasting schedule.
MagicEye Zoom: As the weight approaches the final 1%, the animated MagicEye graphic takes over, displaying the weighing progress down to the gram. This homage pays tribute to the tuning indicator of the wooden tube radios of the 1950s.
Dual-bucket Mode: To prevent lifting heavy batches of green coffee at once to the roasting machine, a batch can be weighed out into two separate buckets.
The Cosmos series has been shortlisted for this year's Best New Product awards at the World of Coffee in Geneva.

Umbra Lunar Duo
Introducing the Umbra Lunar Duo! The Duo has the same firmware features and connectivity abilities as the Umbra Lunar. Both communicate measurement information in real-time with other Acaia products through our Magic Relay function and share the display. The Duo also offers double the surface area of the Umbra Lunar and an increased 1500-gram capacity.
The Umbra Lunar and Umbra Lunar Duo can connect with your smartphone and existing Acaia products. At this time, both display-free products can pair with the modern versions of the Lunar, Pearl, and Pearl Model S. The scales can also connect with your mobile device through the Brewmaster app to show real-time feedback and provide advanced controls. Expand your setup, on the drip tray or the brew bar, for unmatched accuracy and seamless switching between weights.

Longer Battery Life: The Duo benefits from a display-free workflow and elevated energy efficiency architecture, meaning a longer-lasting charge.

Magic Relay: Switch with a change of weight. When an Umbra scale and display Acaia scale are paired with the Magic Relay connection, you can toggle between weight readings instinctively. You can also show two weights at the same time.

It has double the footprint of the Umbra Lunar or Lunar scale, making it ideal for brewing carafes or two cups.
